Happy 45th birthday to the Ford Transit van!
If the Ford Transit van were a bloke, we’d all be toasting him and saying he doesn’t look a day over thirty. Can you believe that the first Ford transit van was released in August forty-five years ago?
We’ve been selling new and used vans for over twenty years now, and the Ford Transit is a perennial best seller. The popularity of the Ford Transit van isn’t because of nostalgia, far from it; there’s no getting away from the fact that they make exceptionally reliable commercial vehicles and come in such a wide range of spec and sizes that there is always the perfect van for the job. In fact, there are over 140 configurations of the current Transit van launched in 2006.
