Anchor Vans announces plans to revolutionise car and commercial vehicle servicing with new website

Anchor Vans, one of Berkshire's largest Ford-approved service agents and leading vendor of used vans, has released details of a radical new website designed for vehicle servicing customers. The website will be launched on the www.anchor-service.co.uk domain and will include the facility to book car and commercial vehicle servicing online. The site will also feature live video feeds streamed from the workshop bays, enabling vehicle servicing customers to view the progress of their vehicle service in real time.

Simon Joyce, Sales Director for Anchor Vans, said; "I'm really excited about the plans we have for this new website. We've had such a great response to the micro sites we've launched for particular brands of used vans over the last year, it occurred to us that a dedicated site for our vehicle servicing customers would be a great benefit to them. Not only will it be more convenient for our customers to be able to find more information and send booking requests directly to us, it will also help the staff here who will be able to put answers to commonly asked questions on the site too."

When asked why live feeds from the vehicle servicing workshops have been planned, Simon replied; "In terms of customer experience, many of our vehicle servicing customers put their car or used van in for a service and pick it up again later with no idea what happens during that service, and how it is progressing during the time it's with us. With a live video stream from the vehicle servicing bays, customers will be able to see what is happening to their car or van and will also get an idea of what is involved in the process."
