Anchor Vans awarded UK Van Dealer of the Year for Second Year Running

Family-run company - Anchor Vans - have been awarded UK Van Dealer of the Year Award for the second year running.

The company were presented the Motor Trader Industry Award by impressionist Jon Colshaw, star of hit TV show Dead Ringers, in recognition of its excellent customer service, its new user friendly website and the huge selection of quality stock.

Graham Joyce, Director of Anchor Vans based on the A4 Bath Road at Padworth, says: We’re delighted to have won this prestigious award two years in a row. It demonstrates the high level of customer service that we offer our clients.”

We hold the largest selections of quality used vans in the South of England and have recently re-launched our user friendly website  www.AnchorVans.co.uk, which allows our customers to confidently shop from the comfort of their home or office.

We’ve found that a lot of our customers don’t have time to travel to look at vans so we have focused our attention on getting a large selection of pictures which accurately depict each vans condition.

At the moment we have over 350 vans on our website  www.AnchorVans.co.uk and have multiple photos of the inside and the outside of every van that we are selling.

This has seen our sales increase dramatically to areas around the country including Scotland and we are now able to sell 60 per cent of our vehicles over the telephone.”

Graham started the company 18 years ago following his extensive experience running BMW dealership. The four strong director team are all close family and recently welcomed the next generation as Graham’s first grandson, Jack Joyce, was born on 23 July.


Sales Director and first time father, Simon, says: In one week the company received this award and Jack was born. We now have high hopes for him in the sales department but he’ll have to start in the valeting department just like I did 18 years ago!”

The Motor Trader Industry Award was presented to Graham Joyce and Anchor Vans at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on 16th July 2008.
