Spring has sprung at Anchor HQ, the sun came out (for a day), the April showers are.. ahem, still here, we’ve finally ditched the winter coat.. and swapped it for a mac.
Anyway, now is the time for a good old spring clean. Not only do we sell vans we also have a large servicing, repairs and MOT centre, so book in with us and make sure your most important tool is in shipshape condition this summer.
In order to kick-start the new financial year, the Anchor Vans team were treated to a spicy feast at Chilis Indian Restaurant in Newbury to celebrate company performance over the last 12 months. It’s been a super busy year so a huge thank you to all our team for their tireless efforts and thank you to the staff at Chilis for looking after us so well.
Salesman Colin continues his good form, leading the sales deck throughout April. We asked Colin which van was his favourite ‘one which sells’ came the reply, and seeing as we sold more of them than any other van in April, our money’s on the Transit.
A special mention must go to salesman Carl, who put his organisational skills to good use and orchestrated a comedy evening at The Haymarket in Basingstoke in aid of local charity St Michael’s Hospice (North Hampshire). The impressive line-up included comedians such as Simon Evans (BBC Radio 4, Live at The Apollo), James Redmond (Hollyoaks) and Andrew Bird (Never Mind the Buzzcocks). Well done Carl!
